New Fruita Store Now Open, Come Visit!
Skip's Farm to Market Fruita began in the Old Roan Creek Ranch Grocery at 119 E. Aspen Ave. After a couple years in business at that location, Skip purchased and remodeled the building at 211 E. Aspen Ave. that once housed Brumbaugh’s Groceries and Meats in the 1930’s.
The original store was approximately 500 sq. ft. and the new space is nearly 3,000 sq. ft. This expansion has allowed us to carry a larger variety of local and natural food and artisan products.

Over the Edge Sports was born in Fruita, Colorado, USA. Fruita was in rebuilding mode after a sudden collapse in the energy economy. The passionate crew at Over the Edge and a key group of supporters and riders saw the town as a hidden gem and the surrounding public lands as the perfect recipe for a mountain bike town.
The unique legacy of Over the Edge began as we scrambled to prepare a 90-year-old nearly abandoned building into a bike shop while carving out a network of singletrack trails in the desert north of Fruita off of “18 Road” before knowing we even needed to ask permission to do so. As the Federal Land Managers told the OTE crew to “stop,” the City of Fruita opened a door between mountain bikers and land managers. That led Over the Edge and Fruita to become an international example of leadership in mountain bike trail development and public land relations.

Chow Down started back in the early nineties in a tiny space adjacent to a car wash. The vision, spearheaded by Petra Davis, was to offer premium pet food with unsurpassed customer service. Petra’s passion for animals was equal to her desire to educate pet parents about the importance of proper nutrition and pet care. The pet industry has come a long way since then but the fundamentals remain the same: outstanding customer service, love of the animal and the importance of understanding the myriad of products and services available to our pets.
Every day we strive to bring health and wellness to pets and a smile to your face. Being pet parents ourselves, we fully understand the love and friendship a pet brings to your life. Anything we can do to foster that is a day well spent. We truly love what we do and we thank you for the opportunity to make your life with your pet more complete.
The staff at Chow Down Pet Supplies is committed to continually learning more about pet care, products, and nutrition so we can provide you with the best products and services around.
